A Wedding at Home, with F & P in Kent
A wedding at home can be a wonderful thing. Celebrating in the garden where you grew up, bringing together pockets of friends and family on common ground, and relaxing surrounded by decades of shared memories.
We encourage everyone to celebrate their wedding in their own way, and Fanny & Patrick did just that. They married in the village church, with Fanny being chauffeured by her dad in a vintage car. Even if said car did need a helping hand to get going again!
Then it was back to a family home, surrounded by personal touches and family traditions - shucking oysters, drinking Pimms, and having a lovely time.
Standing around for an hour taking loads of formal group shots? Not on the agenda. A stunning floor-length gown? Not Fanny’s style! A three-course meal served while guests remained seated at the table? Not the vibe.
Fanny and Patrick’s wedding felt personal and intentional because they chose the traditions that mattered the most, and left what didn’t feel like them. It was relaxed and informal, joyous and celebratory, emotional and meaningful. And then one heck of a dance floor!
